A group visit to the Adler Planetarium is a fun and unique way to get together during special occasions. Corporate, church and family groups have a blast in our interactive astronomy exhibitions and enjoy a variety of sky shows and guided tours. You can also highlight your group visit with a delicious catered meal from Galileo's Café.

Steps to Booking an Adler Field Trip for Illinois Schools
- Download the Illinois School Information and Reservation Forms (see below)
- Read about your field trip options in the school brochure.
- Choose your desired sky shows and programs.
- Fill out the Reservation Request Form.
- Read and sign the Policy Agreement Form.
- Fax, mail or email the Reservation Request Form and Policy Agreement Form with payment.*
- Fax your Lunch Reservation Request Form to Galileo's Café if you are ordering lunch.
- A group sales representative will email you a confirmation within a week.
*Field trip requests turned in without the payment due will be processed for exhibits only. Payment in full must be turned in to reserve shows or educational programs. Brown Bag Lunchroom space can be reserved after payment is received.

Steps to Booking an Adler Field Trip for Out of State Schools
- Download the Out of State School Information and Reservation Forms (see below).
- Read about your field trip options in the school brochure.
- Choose your desired sky shows and programs.
- Fill out the Reservation Request Form.
- Read and sign the Policy Agreement Form.
- Fax, mail or email the Reservation Request Form and Policy Agreement Form.
- Fax your Lunch Reservation Request Form to Galileo’s Café if you are ordering lunch.
- A group sales representative will email you a reservation contract within a week.
- A deposit of 20% of the payment balance is due within two weeks of booking to confirm the reservation.
- Final numbers and the payment are due two weeks prior to your visit date.

Music of the Spheres: Performance Groups
The Adler Planetarium is a stellar venue for your music performance groups. Choirs, orchestras and bands will shine amongst the stars, planets and galaxies in the Adler exhibit galleries and the fantastic Sundial Terrace.
•The Adler features both indoor and outdoor performance space for groups of 10-90 musicians.
•Chairs are available for groups under 30. Groups over 30 must rent chairs.
•Due to very limited storage space, cases should be stored on the bus.
•Equipment set up and tear down is conducted by the performance group.
•Performances may last up to 30 minutes.
•Purchase of general admission and one show is required for performance groups.

Group meals at the Adler Planetarium are out of this world, thanks to the creative minds at Food For Thought. Our group menu offers offers a twist on the usual boxed lunch, with options like homestyle breakfast, three course lunch, afternoon enrichment and High Tea. Pair this with a reserved section in Galileo's Cafè — home to one of the best views of the Chicago skyline — and you have an experience to remember!

Celebrate your child's birthday in celestial style at the Adler Planetarium. The Adler offers birthday packages designed for children age 3 to 13. Our birthday reservation staff will assist you in making a few simple decisions to customize your event and make it an out of this world experience!
Choose your Museum Experience
Option 1: Museum admission plus one show of your choice: $14 per child, $16 per adult
Option 2: Museum admission plus two shows of your choice: $19 per child, $21 per adult
Option 3: Museum admission, one show of your choice plus an activity led by a party facilitator. (There is a ten child minimum for Option 3. Activities run approximately 30 minutes):
• Ages 5-7 Make A Solar System Mobile, $21 per child, $16 per adult
• Ages 8-13 Make and Decorate Your Own Telescope, $25 per child, $16 per adult
Birthday reservations include one free adult for every five children for all birthday options. There are no Member discounts for birthday reservations.

Food service will be held in one of our party rooms. Smaller groups may be accomodated in Galileo's Cafe.
Saturn Sandwich Selections: Sandwich Assortment includes: Mini Ham & Swiss with Lettuce and Tomato, "All Star" Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Turkey & American Cheese Sandwich. Also includes Potato Chips and Pitchers of Fruit Punch and Lemonade. $9.25 Per Person Inclusive.

Birthday Party Reservations
To make a reservation, please fax or email a copy of the Birthday Request Form and Food Service Information*. Feel free to call or email to check availability or if you have problems downloading the request form. Reservations must be received at least two weeks in advance. Final payment is due no less than one week prior to the visit date. For inquiries and reservations, contact:
