The 2009 Celestial Ball: Cosmic Fusion will celebrate the International Year of Astronomy and the Adler's bold new vision to become the world's premier science center. Set in the Adler's Sky Pavilion against the backdrop of Chicago's spectacular skyline, the gala features live and silent auctions, dining and dancing under the stars and a luxury raffle for more than 600 guests.
Lisa Lewis of Oak Park, is chair of the event, and Laura Myntti of River Forest and Kimberly Rachal of Chicago, are co-chairs.
Tickets to the Celestial Ball are $500.
