Celestial Ball 2008, Night and Day
Saturday, November 1, 2008
The 2008 Celestial Ball: Night and Day will celebrate the Adler Planetarium's bold new vision to become the world's premier space science center. We will inspire the next generation of explorers by telling the story of human space exploration and America's space heroes. Veteran astronaut and national hero, Captain James A. Lovell, Jr. will serve as honorary chairman of the very special evening. Your support will help the Adler reach a new generation of explorers.
Pam Cramer of Winnetka, is the chair of the event, and Meg Prendergast of Chicago, and Michelle Vanderlaan of Oak Park, are co-chairs.
Tickets to the Celestial Ball are $500.
Special thanks to our 2008 Celestial Ball Corporate Dinner Chair Scott C. Swanson, Charter One Bank, IL.
